Virginia May Walls, 62, of Jonesboro died Monday, December 2, 2007 at her home. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee and had lived in Jonesboro for the past 14 years, moving here from Chicago, Illinois. She was a bird enthusiast and was preceded in death by her father, mother and one sister.
She is survived by her son, David Cottongim and his wife Li of Chicago, Illinois; brother, Kenneth Cook, Jonesboro; sister Sue Cook, Flint, Michigan’ three grandchildren, Jack, Maya, and Ella and her significant other, Ruben Soto, of the home.
Graveside services will be 12:30 Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at Nettleton Cemetery with Brother Bill Watt officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
