Virginia Ann Rhodes

Virginia Ann “Ginny” Rhodes, 75, of Jonesboro, died Friday, November 10, 2017, at her home. She was born on February 1 ^st 1942 to Phillip and Lillian Weaver. She was a member of the Jonesboro Christian Church where she was very active. Virginia loved singing and sang in a few local groups. Virginia also enjoyed genealogy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Rhodes, Father Phillip Weaver, sister Joyce Weaver and brother Bud Weaver.

Survivors include her mother, Lillian Weaver; Stepchildren Lindy (Rianne) of Rotterdam, Netherlands, and Shari Elliott (Michael) of Edmond, Oklahoma; grandchildren Stijn Rhodes, Caroline Elliott, and Jude Elliott.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, November 13, 2017, in the Emerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Wood officiating. Burial will follow service at Jonesboro Memorial Park.  Visitation will be from 9:00 until service time.
