Virginia L. Gentry

Virginia Gentry, 59, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Born in Helena, Virginia was a 1968 graduate of Marianna High School. She and owned and operated Virginia’s Beauty Salon in Mountain View for many years before moving to Jonesboro last year.

Virginia was a member of th United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Anna King Devine, and a brother, Darrel Devine.

Survivors include her sister, Jane Miller, and a nephew, Marvin Miller, both of Jonesboro.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
