Virginia "Ginny" Lee Blaylock

Virginia Lee “Ginny” Blaylock, 73, of Jonesboro peacefully passed away on December 19, 2020.  Ginny was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on August 14, 1947 to Virginia and Lehman Webb.

Ginny is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jerry Blaylock; two sons, Brian (Martye) Blaylock of Mountain Home; Jeremy Blaylock of Jonesboro; three grandchildren: Noah, Hannah, and Jett Blaylock.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Ginny was a wonderful piano player and spent time playing at First Baptist Church of Jonesboro and Greenleaf Medical Center.  She sang soprano in the FBC choir.  She loved music and art and was a beautiful calligraphy artist.  Her first love was her family, and she was the most selfless and loving mom, wife, and friend.

A celebration of Ginny’s life will be held at a future date when it is deemed safe to gather without restrictions. Honorary pallbearers are John Parker, Fred Wiseman, Kenny Cavenaugh, Barry East and Don Garrett.
