Virginia Adair

Virginia Adair, 92, of Jonesboro passed from this life Sunday, September 27, 2015 at the Craighead Nursing Center. She was born on October 18, 1922 in Jonesboro to the late William and Mabel Kee. Virginia was a homemaker most of her life. She was also a member of Central Baptist Church and enjoyed her Sunday school class, the Truth Seekers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James (Hubert) Adair.

Survivors include two sons, Jim (Linda) Adair and Ken (June) Adair all of Jonesboro; two brothers, John Kee of Jonesboro, Jim Kee of Union, Missouri; five grandchildren: Christal Adair, Andy Adair, James (Emily) Adair, Steven (Anne Marie) Adair all of Jonesboro, Dr. John (Meghan) Adair of Danville, Pennsylvania and three great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 11:00 am in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Mike Martin and Jim Kee officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery with active pallbearers being grandsons.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 am prior to the service.
