Virgil Wallis

Virgil Wallis, 58, of Jonesboro died Thursday, September 5, 2013 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. Virgil was a Real Estate Agent and member of the Valley View Church of Christ. He had lived in Dallas, Texas until recently moving back to Jonesboro.
Virgil graduated from Crowley’s Ridge Academy and attended Crowley’s Ridge College. He was preceded in Death by his father, T.V. Wallis and brother, T.V. Wallis Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Wilma Lenderman; brothers, Danny (Karen) Wallis of Jonesboro; Tommy (Sandy) and Bobby (JoAnna) Wallis of Paragould; Paul (Kim) Wallis of Jonesboro; Wes (Carri) Moore of Weatherford, Texas. sisters; Brenda (Anthony) Bryant of Jonesboro; Kay (Cliff) Cupp of Cardwell, Missouri; Pam (Andy) Floyd of Dallas, Texas; Arsalea (Steven) of Perkinston, Mississippi; Lenia (Kelly) Rowe of Paragould.
Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday September 9th, 2013 at the Valley View Church of Christ, with Brother Don House officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge. Burial will be at Philadelphia Cemetery with nephews serving as Pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 2-4 on Sunday September 8, 2013 at the Valley View Church of Christ.
