Virgil "Blue" Mcnatt

Virgil “Blue” McNatt, 80, of Monette, formerly of Jonesboro, died Friday, April 17, 2009, at Woodbriar Nursing Center in Harrisburg.

Born in Craighead County, Virgil lived much of his life in Jonesboro and Monette. For many years he owned and operated McNatt’s Service Station and Bait Shop. He enjoyed doing yard work and was of the Methodist belief. Virgil was preceded in death by 2 sons: Jerry McNatt and Billy McNatt; and by 6 brothers and 1 sister.

Survivors include his wife: Pauline McNatt of Monette;
1 son, Donald Knight of Radom, Illinois;
1 daughter, Peggy Knight of Caraway;
1 sister, Willadean Dunn of Jonesboro; and
1 grandson, Justin McNatt of Brookland.

Funeral services and burial will be private. There will be no visitation.
