Viola Mae (Susie) Redus

Viola Mae (Susie) Redus, 72, of Jonesboro went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 7, 2019, at the Ridgecrest Health and Rehab. Viola was born in Jonesboro on March 9, 1947, to the late Lawrence and Ella Mae McNarry Redus. Viola lived in Jonesboro her entire life, was a housekeeper and of the Baptist belief.

Survived by her sisters, Margaret Davis, and Rosie Redus both of Jonesboro.

Also a long life friend, Janet Blythe from New Orleans, La., residing in Jonesboro.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2019, in Emerson Memorial Chapel with John Wesley Booker officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday, July 13, 2019, in Emerson Memorial Chapel.

Pallbearers will be John Jones, Tommy Burns, Malcom Washington, Aaron Jones Sr., Jayden Swift, Kelon Booker, and Joey Marshall.
