Victoria Louise Richardson

Victoria Louise Richardson, 77, of Gassville, Arkansas passed away at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas on April 15, 2023. Born and raised in Connecticut, Vicki was the second oldest among her five sisters and four brothers. She lived with an unparalleled enthusiasm that was contagious to all those she encountered.  The trait served her well as a lifelong teacher with a gift for sparking the desire to learn in her students. Vicki taught in the Cotter School District in Arkansas for over 25 years before retiring in 2007.  She loved to travel, and a cruise or a road-trip to somewhere she had never been was her vacation of choice. Her greatest joy was to focus her love and enthusiasm around anything and everything involving her three children and five grandchildren and taking particular pleasure in bringing unique gifts suited to their individual personalities every time she saw them.  She will be dearly missed, but that enthusiastic spirit will stay with her family forever.

Vicki is survived by her nine siblings, her husband of 55 years, Eric Richardson, her three children, Kelly Richardson of Jonesboro, AR, Kacie Lutz (Robert) of Lake Mary, FL, and Kris Richardson (Melissa) of Jonesboro, AR, and her five grandchildren, Eric, Elizabeth, Riley, Ethan, and Holden. The family will gather for a celebration of her life at a later date.
