Victor Allen Houston

Victor Allen Houston, 63 of Memphis passed from this life in Cordova, Tennessee Wednesday, January 26. 2022.  Victor was born March 20, 1958 to Arthur M (Jack) and Cerelda Hale Houston in Blytheville.  He had lived in Memphis for 5-6 years coming from Jonesboro.  Victor was an estimator for Division 10 and was of the Baptist belief.  He was a long distance runner and started running at an early age.  Victor was an avid fly fisherman; he was a part time fly fishing guide in Mt. Home.  Victor was an artist and interior designer.  He loved his family was a caregiver to them and he was a good father to his daughter.  Victor was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, A.M. Houston Sr; and Mary Hazel Houston, grandmother; parents and maternal grandparents Malcolm L. Hale and Edith Stringer Hale.

Survivors include loving wife of 11 years, Donna Bowers Houston of the home; daughter, Victoria Leigh Houston of the home; brother, Art Houston of Memphis; sister, Marla Conner of Water Valley, Mississippi.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Emerson Memorial Chapel with service starting at 2:00 PM.  Morris Mauney will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Serving as Pallbearers will be: Seth Barnett, Jamie Barnett, Dwight Conner, Randy Bowers, Tim Gibson and Morris Mauney.
