Victor H. Brunson

Victor H. Brunson, 80, of Jonesboro, died Monday, December 27, 2010 at St. Bernard's Medical Center. He had lived in Jonesboro since 1992, moving here from Memphis, Tennessee and was of the Baptist belief. He was retired from the US Navy and served during the Vietnam and Korean Wars. He was also retired from Holiday Inn and was a volunteer at the First Baptist Church Care Center here in Jonesboro.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Mildred Brunson, of the home; daughters, Kathy Holler and Tonya Harris of Jonesboro; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10:00 Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Oaklawn Cemetery with Dr. Bruce Tippit officiating with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. There will be no public visitation.
