Vicky Joyce Grady

Vicky Joyce Grady, 60, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on December 9, 2022 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. Vicky was born in Batesville, MS on October 27, 1962 to Bo and Evelyn Cook. She is preceded in death by her father, Bo Cook; daughter, Kristi Tucker; grandchild, Kristopher; and beloved dogs, Sassy, Penny, and Sammie.

Vicky spent nearly 40 years living in Northeast Arkansas after moving here from Mississippi. She worked in healthcare, specifically assisting those in home health and hospice. Vicky was an avid reader. So much so that her family eventually lost count of the number of books she read. She also had a passion for gardening and had quite the green thumb. Vicky loved all animals, but her dogs were the quickest to steal her heart. Most importantly, Vicky loved being with her family. Especially her three children, who filled her life with pride and joy.

Vicky is survived by her mother, Evelyn Carter of Rector; son, William Dutton of Jonesboro; daughter, Erica Tucker (Nikki) of Jonesboro; brother, Steve Cook (Brandy) of Rector; and grandchildren, Alex, Lucas, Shelby, Jaylen, Isaiah, Noah, Addison, and Keegan.
