Vicki Lynn Mead

Vicki Lynn Mead, 72, of Jonesboro, passed away on May 18, 2026 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born on December 3, 1953 in Jonesboro to the late Pete and Dorothy Mead.

Vicki was a graduate of Nettleton High School and went on to enjoy a long career as a dedicated accountant before retiring. She was a devout Christian whose faith remained an important part of her life. Vicki found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially attending garage sales, celebrating and decorating for Christmas. She loved writing and doing her podcast. Vicki cherished time spent with her family and friends and will be remembered for her kind heart and warm spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Dorothy Mead; one sister, Carolyn Mead and one brother, Jim Mead.

Vicki is survived by her sister, Shirley Mead of Jonesboro; her brother, Jeff Mead and wife Cathy of Jonesboro; along with several loving nieces and nephews.

Family would like to recognize Connie Seaton for the great care given to Vicki over the last year.

Funeral service will be Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Ken Stallings officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
