Verda Lucille Streetman, 91, of Jonesboro, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2026, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. Lucille was born in Lynn on September 26, 1935, to the late Earl and Gladys Borah. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Streetman; her brother, Earl Gene Borah; and her sister, Maleta Scudder.

Lucille spent most of her life in Northeast Arkansas and was a longtime member of Nettleton Baptist Church. She was a nurse by trade and worked hard to provide for her family. When she wasn’t working, Lucille loved watching Cardinals baseball and camping with her family. Family was always the most important part of her life. Lucille went everywhere with her family, from camping to softball and everything in between. Lucille will be greatly missed by friends and loved ones alike.

Lucille is survived by her daughter, Leigh Hinton (Bobby), of Jonesboro; her sister-in-law, Joan Borah, of Walnut Ridge; her grandchildren, Heidi Penny (Jimmy), Kailee Rosten (Elijah), and Collin Hinton (Christen); and her great-grandchildren, Kynslee Rosten, Bryer Penny, Jasper Penny, Wrenlee Rosten, and Elijah Walker Rosten.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Emerson Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm the following day, Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Emerson Funeral Home, with Stan Ballard officiating. Burial will follow the service at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Jim Scudder, Tyler Scudder, Eli Rosten, Jimmy Penny, Collin Hinton, and Trevor Scudder.
