Velma Ehrline (Walker) Meddleton, 82 of Jonesboro, passed from this life on December 3rd, 2025. Ehrline was born on November 16, 1943 in Newport, AR.
Visitation will be held at 9:00am Saturday, December 6th, with a celebration of her life starting at 10:00am at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Pastor Spencer Furby of Valley View Church of Christ will be officiating. A private burial will take place at Smith Cemetery in Bradford.
She lived most of her life in Jonesboro, but grew up in Bradford, Arkansas.
Ehrline loved to cook, spend time with family and friends, and travel, but most importantly, she loved Jesus.
She is survived by husband: Richard Meddleton of the home, brother: Larry (Brenda) Walker of Imperial, Missouri, daughter: Judy (Wes) Monroe of North Little Rock, daughter: Dianna (Mark) Deal of North Little Rock, son: Joey (Kasey) Walter of Swansea, Illinois, grandchildren: Emma Grace Walter of Norfolk, Virginia, Matt Wilson of Japan, Leah (Dale) Arnold of Imboden, Kelby (James) Mathews of Bono, Latisha (Stephen) Young of North Little Rock, Natasha Deal of North Little Rock, and Samantha Monroe of North Little Rock. Ehrline is also survived by several great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her mother: Blanche Walker, her father: Carl Walker, husband: Joseph M. Walter, son: Jerry Hicks, daughter: Patrea Son, and grandson: Brandon Monroe.
Those wishing to honor Ehrline with lasting memorials are asked to donate to Children’s Home of Paragould, St Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis or Valley View Church of Christ in Jonesboro.
