Velma Mae Arender

Velma Mae Arender, 90, of Bono died Monday March 1, 2010 at her daughter’s residence.

She was born in Monette, Arkansas and had lived in Bono since 1969, moving there from Cash, Arkansas. She was a factory worker, also did farm work and of the Baptist belief.

She was preceded in death by her husband Claude Arender, parents, Nual Meeker and Margaret Kent Meeker, 2 brothers and two sisters.
Survived by her five sons; Amos Arender of Perry, Michigan, Frank Arender of Jonesboro, Kaite Arender , Cartion Arender both of Egypt, Arkansas and Jerry Arender of Lapeer, Michigan.

Four daughters Margie Diggs of Walnut Ridge, Viola Cromwell of Bono, Shirley Redwine of Jonesboro and Pam Simpson of Mt. Home , Arkansas.
Several grandchildren, several great- grandchildren and several great - great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday March 4, 2010 at the Cash Cemetery in Cash, Arkansas, with David Sheppard officiating. Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Blan Cook, Phil Diggs, Greg Arender, Craig Arender, Jason Arender, Bethard Arender and Kevin Martin.

Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M. Wednesday March 3, 2010 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
