Veda Faith Whitley

Veda Faith Whitley, 2, of Jonesboro went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, June 10, 2018. She was born in Jonesboro on May 4, 2016. Veda loved songs, playing, singing and dancing. She attended Valley View Church of Christ with her parents Justin and Abbi Whitley. Veda loved her sisters very much; Alivia, Abigail, and Winni. She is preceded in death by her Nana, Carolyn Tomlinson.

Veda is survived by her parents, Justin and Abbi Whitley; sisters, Alivia Whitley, Abigail Whitley, and Winni Whitley; paternal grandparents, Jim Whitley and Loretta Dougherty; maternal grandparents, Mitch and Jeriann Swindle; great grandparents, Bill & Mary Alice Swindle and Jerry & Neda Simmons; great great grandmother, Aliene Simmons; uncle, Josh Whitley (Amanda); and aunts, Kristina Whitley, Abbi Castillo, Brenda Castillo, and Karen Castillo.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Valley View Church of Christ with Spencer Furby officiating. Burial will follow at Unity Cemetery with the active pallbearers being Josh Whitley and Jim Whitley.

There will be a visitation prior to the service starting at 1 pm.
