Vanessa Dell Roberts

Vanessa Dell Roberts, 53, of Jonesboro, died Sunday July 29, 2007 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

She was born in Chicago, Illinois, and had lived in Jonesboro for 10 years moving here from Chicago.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist belief. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Roberts in 2005. Her parents William Toney and Lula Hatley Toney, two sisters, Ivory Toney and Georgia Mae Toney, two brothers, William Toney and James Arthur.

She is survived by one son, Thomas Jefferson Roberts Jr. of Jonesboro.

Four daughters, Yanette Toney of Jonesboro.
Egypt Cooper and her husband Eric of Jonesboro.
Teresa Roberts of Jonesboro.
Dominiqua Robinson and her husband George, of Jonesboro.
Jasmine Roberts of Jonesboro.

One sister, Catherine Stewart of Chicago, Illinois.

Twelve grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday August 4, at the St. John’s Baptist Church with Reverend Brandon Walker officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.

Visitation will be from 9:00 until service time Saturday August 4, at the St. John’s Baptist Church in Jonesboro.

Active pallbearers will be, Thomas Roberts, Thyron Edwards, George Robinson, William Toney, Darren Toney Stewart and Thomas Toney Stewart
