Vanessa Paulette Dillon

Vanessa Paulette Garner Dillon entered her heavenly home on May 4, 2023. Vanessa was a retired nurse. She loved being in the medical field and everything about it. Vanessa loved her family and friends fiercely. She was a fighter in many ways. Vanessa always fought for what she thought was right and if you knew her, you know what she’d be doing if someone messed with someone she loved.

She was stubborn, loving and strong willed. No matter the obstacles she faced in life these qualities helped her overcome everything. She was full of personality and definitely her own person.

Vanessa was proud of her family and loved to brag on her grandchildren and was especially proud to welcome her great granddaughter into the world. She loved to cook, garden, listen to music and read her bible.

Vanessa was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Susie Garner; her brother, Randy Garner and daughter, Melinda Dillon.

Survivors include her children, Megan, Alexa, John, Jody Dillon, Mandy Parten and Stephanie Bowman; her brothers, Andy, Danny, Rodney and Anthony Garner; the father of her children, Wayne Dillion; 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

There are no services planned, there will be a celebration of her life at a later date.
