Tyler Emmons, 15, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Saturday, November 28, 2015. He was born on January 31, 2000 in Memphis to Keith and Amy Emmons. Tyler was not the average teenager; he was respectful, caring, kind, and loving. He was a protector of the ones he loved and would do anything to make you laugh. Tyler was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and a member of the Jonesboro High School Football team. He enjoyed hunting and playing football. Tyler is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Bill Biskup and David Emmons; uncles, Chip Parkhurst and Paul Macejko.
Tyler is survived by his mother, Amy Emmons; father, Keith Emmons; grandparents, Martha Biskup and Jerry &Barbara Parkhurst; great-grandmothers, Ann Miller, Ida Miller, and Janet Emmons; aunts, Kim VanLeeuwen (Pete) and Lindsay Kobuszewski; uncles, Dustin Brickell and Nathan Mains; great aunts, Diane Miller, Phyllis Swan, and Beverly Slusser; great uncles, Don Macejko, Danny Macejko, John Miller, Marvin Emmons, and Allan Emmons. Tyler also leaves behind his beloved dog, Josie.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Emerson Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Emmons officiating. The honorary pallbearers will be Zach Tabor and the rest of the Jonesboro High School Football Team.
