Turner O’Neal (Dobie) Bigham, 74 of Jonesboro, died Monday, March 7, 2011 at his home. He lived in Jonesboro for the past 10 years moving here from Beedeville, Arkansas. He also spent time in Hugoton, Kansas helping his brother farm.
He was a former member of the Church of Christ in Beedeville. He loved any kind of hunting and fishing and loved being with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Viola & Charles Bigham; granddaughter, Marcy Bigham; great grandson, David James Trice; and 2 sisters, Danece Beesly and Brenda Bigham.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Lisa Newberry and Paula Stupp, both of Jonesboro; 3 brothers, Jimmy Bigham of Memphis, Charles (Buck) Bigham of Patterson, Ronnie Bigham of Rogers; and 1 sister, Diane Robinson of Southaven, Mississippi; former wife, Virginia Long of Jonesboro; 5 grandchildren, Jessica Trice, Katrina Noll, Nikki Noll all of Jonesboro, Alisha Hart of Hooker, Oklahoma, Tasha Wohgelmuth of Fort Collins, Colorado; 5 great grandchildren, Audrey, Dillion, Gage, Issac, Daniel, Liana, and Trace.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
