Troy Lee Reeves, 80, of Jonesboro passed from this life surrounded by his family on Saturday June 28, 2014 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born in Alicia, Arkansas on September 10, 1933 to the late Earl and Alis Hardin Reeves. He had lived in Jonesboro for 51 years and was of the Church of Christ belief.

Troy worked 29 years as a heavy equipment operator for the City of Jonesboro. He loved being outside with his family, fishing and loved his rose bushes. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by a son; Danny Reeves, brother; Coy Reeves and a grandson; Christopher Reeves.

Survived by his wife of 60 years; Melba Reeves of the home.

Sons; Ronnie Reeves (Tammy) of Jonesboro and Donny Reeves (Sheila) of Forrest City.

Daughters; Patti Webb (Brian) of Gulfport, Mississippi, Glenda Silsbee of Jonesboro and Penny Guntharp (Travis) of Paragould.
Brother; Leonard Reeves of Granite City, Illinois.

Sisters; Erma Lawson of Granite City, Illinois and Kitty Fallis of Edwardsville, Illinois.

13 Grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday July 2, 2014 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bill Willard officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday July 1, 2014 at Emerson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be his grandson’s; Jeromy Holladay, Nathan Silsbee, Cheyne Weir, Corey Waller, Brian Reeves and Cody Reeves.
