Traven Case Weaver, 23, of Lake City, Arkansas, passed on November 17, 2025. He was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on September 5, 2002, to Christopher Scott Weaver and Jennifer Elise Douglas.
Traven was a loved son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, teammate, co-worker and a friend.
Traven graduated from Riverside High School in 2021 and was thriving in his career as an HVAC apprentice.
Traven loved the outdoors and cherished time spent admiring God’s creation—whether through athletics, hiking, camping, hunting, or playing with his dogs. He enjoyed watching baseball, diving into the strongest waves on the Gulf, going on cruises, or simply taking a drive. His closest loved ones were treated to his dance moves and beautiful singing. He could often be found at a thrift store working on his fashion statement of the week, at the gym, or riding around to look at PawPaw’s fields.
From the age of three, Traven grew up on the baseball field. He played every position, but his heart was always on the mound. At home, he built his own “field of dreams” in the yard and welcomed anyone who wanted to play.
Trav always had a giving and loving heart to others; he had an infectious and beautiful smile that would warm your heart. He loved his family the most — always entertaining them with the best sarcasm and comedic relief.
Traven was of the Christian faith and was baptized at church camp as a young teen.
Traven is survived by his best friend Dolly Ray, his mother Jennifer Douglas and stepdad Mark Douglas of Lake City, sister Allysa Weaver of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, sister Katie Woodruff, brother Joseph Loya, stepsister Kassie Douglas, his "Gran" Mary Lynn Woodruff and PawPaw Arlon Woodruff all of Lake City, great grandmother Mattie Belle Woodruff of Jonesboro, Arkansas, his Auntie Tonya of Florida, stepsister Keryn Floyd of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, and paternal grandfather Danny Weaver of Caraway, Arkansas. As well as by many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, friends and his other fur babies Honey and Bubba.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Christopher Scott Weaver and paternal Grandmother Wanda Weaver.
The Family will receive friends Friday, November 21, 2025, at 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Family will gather at 12 p.m. The memorial service will be held at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Garrett Weaver officiating.
