Tracy Lee Coats

Tracy Lee Coats, 58, passed from this life on June 23, 2023 at her home, surrounded by family. Tracy was born June 30, 1964 in Clinton, Iowa to the late Charles and Lucille Morris. In addition to her parents, Tracy is preceded in death by her sister Ann Morris.

At an early age, Tracy’s family moved to Hoxie where she spent most of her youth. Tracy eventually got married, and, due to her husband’s Army commitments, she lived all over the world, including the country Panama. In the late 1990s, Tracy moved her family back to Northeast Arkansas, landing in Jonesboro. Tracy loved watching gameshows, especially Family Feud. She also enjoyed murder mysteries and the true crime genre. Tracy’s favorite color was yellow. Most importantly, Tracy loved being with her kids and grandkids.

Tracy is survived by her children, Chris Coats and Lyndsey Coats (James) of Jonesboro and Justin Coats of Trumann; sister, Shelia Randall (Raymond) of Walnut Ridge; and six grandchildren, Jalyn, Tegan, Anthony, Annelise, Rocky, and Delta.
