Tony M. Wolfe

On October 31, 1961 Tony M. Wolfe was born to Edward Lee Wolfe and Mary Lue Wolfe.

He departed this life on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital.

He married the love of his life Robin Hill October 8, 1983 at First Baptist Church under Rev. H.L. Lewellen and to this union two children were born.

He attended Jonesboro High School and graduated from the University of Phoenix with an Associate’s Degree in Arts. He worked as a Fork-Lift driver at various factories and retired at the age of 60 from Nestle. He accepted Christ at an early age and became the Community’s best Piano Player at the age of 12. He began playing the piano at First Baptist Church and later became a faithful member of St. Paul MB Church of Bay, AR where he was the Pianist. He enjoyed fishing, writing music, and spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and being an active father-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward L. Wolfe, Mary L. Wolfe-Neal, (step-father Robert Neal), his grandparents Eurise Johnson, Lucinda Johnson, and Alice Wolfe. His aunt Lilian Stedman, his sister Lamona Wolfe-Joiner and his brother Owen Wolfe.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Robin B. Wolfe. He son Britten M. Wolfe of Jonesboro, AR, his daughter Kendal (Vincent) Jones of Jonesboro, AR. Brother Edward E. Wolfe, Sr. (Laurieanne). His sister Hilda Wolfe-Lagrone. A host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. His sister’s in love Hortense Robinson of Jonesboro, AR, Myrna (James) Carruth of St. Louis, MO, Shelia Hill of Jonesboro, AR, Celess Massie of Jonesboro, AR. One brother in love Victor Hill of Jonesboro, AR. Tony had some special friends that were dear to his heart. Tony R. Davis of Georgia, Jamie Blunt of Pine Bluff, David Howard of Jonesboro, AR, Clifton Blunt of Pine Bluff, the Lorene Prunty family, and Tony Thomas (deceased).

The family of Tony Wolfe extends our heartfelt gratitude for the love, support, and kindness shown during this difficult time. Your comforting words, thoughtful gestures, and presence have brought strength and comfort to our family.

We offer special thanks to Emerson Funeral Home and NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. We are especially grateful to those who traveled, prepared meals, sent flowers, or extended helping hands in so many meaningful ways.

Though our hearts are heavy, we are deeply thankful for the love that surrounds us and for the many lives Tony touched.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 700 Kitchen St. Jonesboro, AR 72401. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery with Vincent Jones, Jr., Edward Wolfe, Jr., Kyle Joiner, Vincent Jones III, Kevin Kimble, Jr., Chilton Blunt, Marquez Lewis, Sr., and Joe Sheppard serving as pallbearers.
