Tommy Stewart, 59, of Horseshoe Bend formerly of Jonesboro passed from this life on January 3, 2018 at his residence of natural causes.

Tommy was born on March 12, 1958 to John and Peggy Ollis Stewart in Jonesboro. He grew up in the Jonesboro area where he graduated with the Jonesboro High School class of 1976. He worked for Coca Cola, Jonesboro Grocery, and the Tobacco Station USA stores, before moving to Horseshoe Bend seven years ago to enjoy retirement. He was a member of the Brookland Baptist Church. He was married to Kathy Fowler Stewart the love of his life for almost thirty three years. He was an avid fisherman and sports fan. His favorite teams were the Arkansas Razorback and the St. Louis Cardinals. He never met a stranger and he loved to joke around with his family and friends.   He was preceded in death by his father, John Stewart.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Stewart of Horseshoe Bend; mother, Peggy Stewart of Jonesboro; brother, Jimmy (Rebekah) Stewart of Maumelle; sister, Vicky (Kelly) Collins of Jonesboro; several nieces and nephews; a host of other family and friends; and a little furry companion, Kasey.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7pm at Emerson Funeral Home.

All other services will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
