Tommy Lamberson

Tommy Merritt Lamberson, 59, of Jonesboro died at St. Bernards Medical Center Thursday.

Mr. Lamberson was a Vietnam Veteran in the United States Army and earned the Purple Heart. He was a member of Bay Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Jane, of the home; two sons, Blake and his wife Saundra of Mountain Home, and Brett Lamberson of Jonesboro; his parents, Verlin and Betty Lamberson; one sister, June Towery of Bay; and two grandchildren, Kolby and Kolin Lamberson.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Minnie Lamberson and Ben and Dovie Sheets.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bay Church of Christ with Tim Wilkes II officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Garry Lamberson, Larry Colbert, Howard Grisham, Jimmy Grisham, David Ashlock, Bill Ballard, Matt Byrd, and David Byrd.
