Timothy "Tim" Wade Henry

Timothy "Tim" Wade Henry, 63, of Brookland, passed away peacefully at his home on April 24, 2025. He was born on September 9, 1961, in Heber Springs to Eddie Henry and Vada Shelton.

Tim was raised in Black Oak and had called Brookland home for the past 20 years. He was a proud graduate of the Nettleton High School Class of 1979. A hardworking man, Tim spent his career as a Gas Truck Hauler for Flash Market. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Higher Trails Cowboy Church.

Tim had a deep love for riding horses and cherished the simple joys of country life. He found happiness in spending time with his family and took special pride in caring for his beloved 18-year-old Rat Terriers, Thelma and Louise, who were more like children to him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Eddie Henry; his stepfather, David Shelton; his paternal grandparents, Albertine and Coy Henry; and his maternal grandparents, Milburn and Exe Bailey.

Tim is survived by his loving mother, Vada Shelton of Brookland; his son, Corey Wilson; his sister, Dedra (Doug) Duff; his stepsister, Margaret (Gene) Franklin; his niece, Brittany (Chad) Long; his nephew, Bryson Duff; and his great-niece, Ainsley Long—all of Brookland. He also leaves behind two special friends, Renea Wall and Scott McLaughlin.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Jamie, Clayton, Camilla, Ashley, Same, and Dierkson Hospice. All services will be private.
