Timothy Collin Foote

Timothy Collin Foote, aged 61, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025, in Jonesboro, AR. He was living in West Burlington, IA, at the time of his passing. Timothy was born on July 14, 1963, in Berlin, New Hampshire, to David Foote and Pauline F. Abbott (née Prescott).

He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Luz, of 39 years. Together, they shared a love for adventure and creating lifelong memories.  He had a deep love for the outdoors, spending his time hunting, fishing, and camping whenever he could. Timothy’s passion for the outdoors was matched by his love of his wife and family.

Timothy proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. After his time in the service, Timothy returned to New Hampshire with his family and eventually started a new life and career in West Burlington. He was active in his community and was proud to be a local union member, supporter of the Marine Corps League, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Timothy was predeceased by his parents, David and Pauline, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Isidra and Geronimo. He is survived by his wife, Luz, and their two daughters, Elizabeth Martineau and her husband Matthew, and Patricia and her partner Tyler. His sisters Penny  Reed and her partner Carolyn DeBell, Teri Reed, Wendy Foote, Judi Montgomery and Lori Karampatsos and her husband Chris; stepbrothers James Abbott and George Abbott, Jr.. Timothy is also survived by many nieces and nephews, with a special bond shared with his oldest niece, Jessica Lappin, whose service in the military was inspired by his own.

In accordance with his wishes, all services will be private at this time. To honor Timothy’s legacy, donations to your local organizations serving veterans, the Marine Corps League, or Veterans of Foreign Wars, are welcomed in lieu of flowers.
