Tim Waggoner

November 26, 1953 — April 3, 2017

Tim Waggoner, 63, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Monday, April 3, 2017. He was born on November 26, 1953 to late Don and Wanda Waggoner. Tim Graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a Marketing degree in 1976 and shortly thereafter married the love of his life, Carol. Together they lived in Hornersville from 1976-2007 where they were both members of the First United Methodist Church. Tim and Carol have resided in Jonesboro since 2007 where they are members of Community Fellowship Church.

Tim’s first love was his family and he was a great husband, father, grandfather. His second love was working, ever since Tim could push a mower he has been working and always had to have something to work on and lists to work off of. He worked for Skill/Bosch for over thirty years, managing multiple locations including locations in China and Mexico. His second career focused on rental property and building homes in the Paragould and Jonesboro area. Tim also enjoyed coaching kid’s baseball, traveling, and was big into sports. In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by his sister, Donna Waggoner.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Carol Waggoner; son, Chad Waggoner (Lisa) of Jonesboro; daughter, Ashley Anthis (Ben) of Olathe, Kansas; brothers, Kent Waggoner (Carol) of Chesterfield, Missouri and Rodney Waggoner (Laura) of Franklin, Tennessee; grandchildren, Chayla Waggoner, Chase Waggoner, Landon Anthis, Hudson Anthis, and two on the way.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Community Fellowship Church with Pastor David Burgess and Chad Wood Officiating. Burial will follow at 12:30 pm at Dunklin Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri.
