Tim Isbell, 64 of Bay passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis with his family by his side.
Tim was born on January 25, 1952 to the late Jerry and Reva Walker Isbell. He lived most of his life in the Bay area. He worked as a machinist for Alexander Machine Shop in Jonesboro. He served as a Deacon at the Bay Church of Christ. His hobbies included fishing and spending his free time at Spring River in Hardy. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother that was considered the leader in the family. Tim was a friend to many and loved to be around people, and he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone that he came in contact with. The love that Tim displayed to his family, friends, and church home will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant brother; his father-in-law, Lonnie Reeves; and a nephew, Deven Isbell.
He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Reeves Isbell of Bay; daughter, Julie (Danny) Price of Paragould; six grandchildren, Shelby Blankenship, Laney Blankenship, Lila Beach, Aaron Price, Blake Price, and Caleb Price all of Paragould; six siblings, Mondene (Gary) Hill of Trumann, John Howard Isbell of Hardy, Ann Gillen of Overland Park, KS, Mae (Steve) Hertig of Warrensburg, MO, Charles (Kim) Isbell of Jonesboro, and Will Isbell of Hardy; mother-in-law, Jackie Reeves of Bay; fifteen nieces and nephews; and a host other family and friends.
Funeral service will be Monday morning at 10am at Bay Church of Christ with Marvin Rickett and Tate Sutton officiating. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6-8pm at Emerson Funeral Home, and a second visitation will be Monday morning from 9am until service time at the Bay Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
Tyler Isbell, Wesley Isbell, Jonathan Hill, David Hertig, Elbert Bradford, Eddie Wright, Ryan Manley, and John Johnson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Elders and Deacons of Bay Church of Christ.
