Tiffany Baker, 25, Brookland, died Saturday afternoon at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was a 2000 graduate of Nettleton High School where she was a cheerleader and member of the Homecoming Court. Through school, Tiffany was involved with Southern All-Star Cloggers. She won many trophies, competitions and awards. She was a graduate of ASU with a degree in Early Childhood education. Tiffany loved to be around people which was obvious in her job. Currently, she was teaching 3rd grade at East Elementary, Osceola School District. In the past, Tiffany was a teacher at the Nettleton Evenstart Pre-School Program and at Nettleton Central Elementary School. This young lady touched the lives of many people. She was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by her parents, Phil & Teresa Runkel, Jonesboro; her brother and sister, Bracken and Tausha Baker, and her step-brother, Ryan Runkel, all of Jonesboro. She is also survived by her grandparents, Ferris & Sharon Hess and her great grandmother, Lily Hess, all of Malad, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at Emerson Memorial Chapel at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Robert Stephens officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Active pallbearers will be Wayne Long, Blaine Hansen, Derek Lawson, Tony Zaffarano, Kim Hess, Todd Hess, Trevor Hess, and B.J. Hess.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
