Thomas (T.C.) Wewers

Thomas (T.C.) Wewers, 92, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Wednesday September 5, 2018, at St Bernard’s Medical Center. T.C. was born in Morrisons Bluff, Arkansas on December 29, 1925, to the late Henry and Mary Deuerling Wewers.

T.C. lived in Jonesboro most of his life where he worked as a farmer and a mechanic for Thermogas for 34 years. After retiring from Thermogas he went back to farming and was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and a WWII Army Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae Wewers, 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survived by his sons, Willie Forrest (Lisa) of Arlington, Virginia.

Christopher Wewers (Sandy), Louis Wewers (Paula) and Berry Wewers all of Jonesboro.

Daughters, Linda Kay Arnold (Jimmy) of Williford.

Yvonne Cooper (Marco) of Hardy.

9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday September 7, 2018, at the Newman Catholic Center with Rev. Alphonse Gollapalli officiating. Burial will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

A rosary will be at 4:30 on Friday September 7, 2018 at the Newman Catholic Center.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery 3600 Hwy 163 Cherry Valley, Arkansas 72324.
