Thomas Sprinkle

Thomas Sprinkle, 80, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Thursday, November 1, 2018. He was born on June 25, 1938 in Bono to the late Baycell and Silda Sprinkle. Thomas and his wife, Gladys, were members of North Main Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and spent most of his time served in Germany. Thomas was a hard working man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and being active in church. He was a good husband, father, grandfather, and friend and he will be missed by all. In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his brothers, Clarence Sprinkle and Bo Sprinkle; sisters, Eunice Fergeson, Arizona Sprinkle, Dora Sprinkle, and an infant sister; and grandson, Shawn Mahan.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Gladys Sprinkle of Jonesboro; daughters, Pam Collins (Marvin) of Jonesboro, Penni Pratt (Johnnie) of Illinois, Paula Sprinkle of Illinois, Phyllis Williams (Michael) of Jonesboro, sons, David Sprinkle (Dana) of Harrisburg and Jack Dillinger (Donna) of Jonesboro; brother, Donnie Sprinkle (Evondia) of Bono; grandchildren, Natalie Brown (Anthony), Matthew Garland (Bethany), Marvin Collins Jr. , Angel Collins, Jonathan Pratt, Callison Pratt, Savana Comilap (Nelvin), Makayla Sprinkle, Elizabeth Sprinkle, Amy Hester (Dean), Daniel Dillinger (Kelsey), David Dillinger, Taylor Dillinger, Michael Mahan (Alesha), Travis Williams (Kristen), and Marshall Williams (Hannah). Thomas also leaves behind 16 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and a host of other friends and family.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 5, 2018 at North Main Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Bishop Cemetery with the active pallbearers being Rick Carter, Bill Puckett, Cliff Griffin, Richie Richardson, Dave Tarkington, and Paul Davison. The honorary pallbearers will be the men of North Main Baptist church, Ronnie, Goans, Jimmy Coleman, Ralph Cook, Ladell Butts, Terry Richardson, Charles Scott, Bill King, Wesley King, and Mike Frazer.

The visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 12:00 p.m.
