Thomas Lee (Tom) Kimmett

Thomas Lee (Tom) Kimmett, 66, of rural Paragould, died Saturday at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould.

Born in Powell, Wyoming, Tom lived in Pontotoc, Mississippi, before moving to the Paragould area in 2003. He was retired from the U.S. Navy where he was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Tom was a Catholic but attended Finch Baptist Church.

His wife: Ruth Chatman Kimmett of the home;

2 Sons and daughter-in-law: Kirk and Erin Kimmett of Hampton, Virginia, and
Chad Patrick Kimmett of Paragould;

4 Brothers: William Kimmett of Louisville, Colorado,
Clarence Kimmett, and
George Kimmett, both of Denver, and
Louis Kimmett of Idaho;

1 Sister: Marcelline Staniewicz of Rogers;

3 Grandsons: Zak, Jake and Austin Kimmett, all of Pontotoc, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Terry Gage officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Monday evening, 5-7, at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
