Thomas "Gary" Bobbitt

Thomas “Gary” Bobbitt, 63, of Jonesboro died Monday, September 16, 2013 at his home. He was born in Jonesboro on September 30, 1949 to the late Phil and Emmer Bobbitt. Gary had lived in Jonesboro his entire life and was a retired truck driver for Hedger Brothers Concrete. He was of the Baptist belief and a loving man who enjoyed music and barbequing with his friends and family.

Gary was preceded in death by his brother; Tilbern Bobbitt and sister; Tilda Bobbitt.

Survived by his loving wife of 31 years; Linda Bobbitt of the home.

Sons; Timmy Ashley of Trumann, Jeff Renfro of Carlisle, AR.

Daughters; Evelyn, Ann Marie, Sherry, and Doris Bobbitt all of Florida.

Brother; Larry Bobbitt of Dixie.

Sister; Ann Coffman of Jonesboro.

Several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Emerson Memorial Chapel, with Jimmy Bobbitt officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers will be Bennie Wiseman, B.J. Bobbitt, Brian Bobbitt, Ron Brand, Mike Bennett, and Paul Bobbitt.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Emerson Funeral Home.
