Thomas "Fred" Hall

Thomas “Fred” Hall, 65, of Jonesboro died Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the VA Medical Center in Memphis. He lived in Jonesboro most of his life and attended Southwest Church of Christ. Fred served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and was an avid golf enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Winnie Hall.

Fred is survived by his son, Steven Hall, Austin, Texas; daughters, Tracey Roberts and husband, Dennis, The Woodlands, Texas; Shannon Horton, and husband Rodney, Jonesboro, Arkansas; wife, Beverly Hall, Jonesboro; brother, Jim Hall, Lake City; sister, June Henry, Jonesboro; Bettye Hall, mother of Steven and Tracey,Galveston, Texas; Grandchildren, Griffin Roberts, Miranda Roberts, and Cody Horton.

Graveside services will be 2:30 PM, Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Jimmy Adcox officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in Charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Butch Wilkins, Terry Green, Dennis Roberts, Kevin Hall, Keith Hall, and Jim Bratten. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren, and Andy and D. J. Hufstedler. Visitation will be from noon until 2:00 PM, Tuesday at Emerson Funeral Home.
