Theodore Armstead

Theodore H. Armstead, 84, of Jonesboro passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016 at his residence.

Theodore was born on January 10, 1932 to the late Theodore M. and Carrie Bell Hunter Armstead in Cleveland, Ohio. After high school he joined the United States Marines Corp where he served during the Korean Conflict. After the military he worked and retired the first time from the Cleveland Public Schools in the Bedford, Ohio. When moving to Northeast Arkansas area he worked for the Osceola Police Department for eight years. He was a member of the VFW #24 in Blytheville where he has served as Captain. He was a Mason on the 33rd Degree.

He is survived by his loving wife, Deloris Armstead of the home; son, Francis Synor of Cleveland, OH; step-son, Larry Allen of Pennsylvania; step-daughter, Tondelaya Allen of Memphis, TN; sister, Jean Synor of Bedford, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
