Thelma Lee Cockrum, 93, of Jonesboro passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Lakeside Nursing Center. She was born January 7, 1929 in Tuckerman to the late Raymond and Bertha Bradley. Thelma was a member of Stone Street Assembly of God, now the Refuge Church. She was a homemaker and loved to help others and volunteer. Thelma enjoyed crafts, sewing, puzzles, singing, reading her bible and playing old maid with her grandkids.
In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, E. S. Cockrum Junior.
Survivors include her 3 daughters, Regina (Andy) Limber of Heber Springs, Donna Faught of Lake City, Lori (Eddie) Bounds of Lake City; 9 grandchildren: Tara (Steve) Bowdler of Paragould, Brooks Bailey of Jonesboro, Tyler (Deshayla) Bounds of Lake City, Victoria (Jason) Nordin of Delaware, Jessica (Jeff) Coulter of Kansas City, Missouri, Toshia (Max) Moss of Nashville, Tennessee, Spencer (Meghan) Bounds of Jonesboro, Noah Bounds and fiancé Kristina of Lake City, Nicholas Bounds of Lake City and 13 great grandchildren: Taylor Drew and fiancé Carson of Paragould, Brooklyn Bowdler of Paragould, Easton Bowdler of Paragould, Rogue Nordin of Delaware, Morgan Bailey of Jonesboro, Madi Bailey of Jonesboro, Bentley Bailey of Jonesboro, Josie Bailey of Jonesboro, Aubri Coulter of Kansas City, Missouri, Jase Coulter of Kansas City, Missouri, Olivia Bounds of Russellville, Indie Bounds of Jonesboro and Oliver Cloud of Nashville.
Funeral service will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dwayne Reeves and Bro. John Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 PM.
