Terry Lee Reece, 73, of Jonesboro passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born in Little Rock January 12, 1947 to the late William and Victoria Reece. Terry was a member the of the 875 th engineer battalion of the National Guard. He was of the Baptist belief. Terry was the district manager for The Commercial Appeal newspaper for several years.
He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, rodeo and playing baseball and softball in his younger days. Terry loved his family and friends, but watching his grandchildrens activities and sporting events was his greatest passion.
Survivors include his soulmate, Kathy Jones of Paragould; son, Ryan (Morgan) Reece of Nashville, Tennessee; daughter, Alison (G.J.) Jumper of Jonesboro; 2 sisters, Becky (Tommy) Rigsbee of Huntsville, Alabama, Dana Wilson of Bartlett, Tennessee; 3 grandchildren: Cross and Reece Jumper both of Jonesboro and Colton Reece of Nashville, Tennessee.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 2:00 pm in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Don Martin and Jerry Reece officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service.
