Terry Wayne Bogard

Terry Wayne Bogard, 71, of Jonesboro departed this life Monday, April 15, 2024 at the St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born on June 13, 1952 to the late Eugene and Sylvia Bogard in Tyronza, AR.

Terry was of the Pentecostal belief and had spent all of his life living in Jonesboro. For thirty years Terry worked at Delta Tool Box and worked as a supervisor by the time he retired. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army and served his country in Vietnam. In his free time, Terry enjoyed reading and spending his time fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Michelle Brumfield; his stepmother, Mary Bogard; one sister and five brothers.

Terry is survived by one son, Carlton Wayne Bogard; five brothers, Larry Wayne Bogard, Larry Eugene Bogard, Quincy Bogard, Tommy Son, and Mark Rainey; three sisters, Janet Searcy, Marilyn Williams, and Sue Buzzard. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

There will be a visitation at Emerson Funeral Home on Thursday, April 18 starting at 6:00PM and ending at 7:00PM. Funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 7:00PM with Bro. Jim Pagan officiating the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
