Terry Gene Barker

Terry Gene Barker, 71, of Cherokee Village, passed from this life Wednesday, June 15, 2016. He was born March 29, 1945 in Trumann to the late Clifford and Gussie Barker. He enjoyed playing music, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Terry worked as a salesman, photographer and owned his own business. He attended Cherokee Village First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his 3 daughters, Suzy Batiz of Dallas, Texas, Sherry (Dr. Kevin) Pierce of Jonesboro, Crystal Barker Harrison; 4 brothers, James (Darlene) Barker, Gerald (Donna) Barker, Doug (Deana) Barker, Ed (Brenda) Barker all of Jonesboro; 1 sister Patricia Hallmark of Jonesboro; 7 grandchildren, Dustin Vaughn, C.J. Vaughn, Maegan (Eric) Moore, Madison Roddy, Cassidy Batiz, Ethan Brewer, Ella Brewer and 1 great grandchild, Avery Grace Moore.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 12:00-2:00 pm at Emerson Funeral Home.
