Terri Lisa Roark, 58, of rural Jonesboro, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at St. Bernards Medical Center.
Born in Arbyrd, Missouri, Terri lived most of her life in the Jonesboro area. She was a 1971 graduate of Brookland High School and a 1975 graduate of Arkansas State University earning an accounting degree.
Terri was an accountant for Jonesboro Overhead Door Company where she had worked 35 years. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church where she was a member of United Methodist Women, the Adults Too Sunday school class and was a member of the finance committee.
Terri was a long time member of TOPS, was an avid ASU Red Wolves and Arkansas Razorback fan and enjoying taking annual trips to Myrtle Beach. She was preceded in death by her father, Buel Roark.
Survivors include her mother, Irene Roark of the home;
1 sister and brother-in-law: Patti and Tommy Nesmith of Jonesboro;
1 niece: Sara Foster of Honolulu, and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 with Rev. Charles Sigman and
Rev. Patty Soward officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.
Active pallbearers include Gene Vance, John Cleaves, Paul Dent, Bill Cribbs,
Charlie Lingengfelter and Hugh Walton. Honorary pallbearers include fellow employees of Jonesboro Overhead Door Company.
Visitation will be held Friday evening, 5:30-7:30, at Emerson Funeral Home.
