Teri Courville

Teri Renea Courville 56, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away Monday July 8, 2024 at St.Bernards medical center after a courageous battle with heart disease. She was surrounded by her loving family, and she was at peace. born May 18, 1968, she lived life unafraid and in the moment. She leaves behind a legacy of hope, kindness, courage, and refusal to give up. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She knew things one could only learn by living life on life’s terms. Always willing to help anyone in need, her door was always open, and her advice was always honest, helpful and real. She never made a dish that wasn’t delicious, and she had a real love and genuine talent for gardening. She had unending love for her husband, children, grandchildren and her 5 dogs. To say she will be missed is not what Teri would have wanted. She will be remembered. Remembered for her wonderful heart and kindness. Remembered for her strength and determination. Remembered for the love and understanding she showed everyone. She was an amazing woman, and we are all better for having known her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Norma Jean Norwood and a grandchild Lala. She is survived by her soulmate and husband Michael Courville, her sister and best friend Pam (Jamie) Skaggs, her children Dustin (Mallory) Norwood, Christina Cantrell, Dylan (Amber) Norwood, Jenni (Callie) Courville, and six grandchildren John Slay, Shyler, Aiden, Marleigh, Maliegh Jo, and Murphy.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 12, 2024, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time.  The burial will be private.
