Taylor "Tad" Austin Dobbins

Tad Dobbins, 41, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away on May 27, 2026, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

Tad was born on December 6, 1984, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to Gary and Connie Dobbins. He grew up in Marmaduke, Arkansas, before making his home in Jonesboro 12 years ago. He was of the Baptist faith.

A gifted and talented individual, Tad earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Arkansas State University and worked as a software engineer and developer 15+ years. He was known for his sharp mind, quick wit, and wonderful sense of humor that could brighten any room.

Tad had a deep love for video games, collecting comic books, and all things pop culture. He was an avid fan of television shows and movies and enjoyed sharing laughs and conversations with family and friends about his favorite characters and stories.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Alma Ruth Middleton, Glen and Doris Dobbins, and Patsy Ruth Stotts; and one uncle, Buie Ray.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Gary and Connie Dobbins of Jonesboro; one brother, Michael Dobbins (Alden) of Marion; and two nieces, Avery and Turner Kate.

A visitation will be held Monday, June 1, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Emerson Funeral Home, with funeral services beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
