Tara Wesley Bodeker, age 49, passed away on August 29th in Jonesboro, AR at the Flo and Phil Hospice House. Tara was born on March 15th, 1977, to Larry and Nikki Bodeker. Tara was a beautiful soul who spread kindness and love to everyone she met. She was an avid reader, a devoted Star Wars fan, and a faithful Christian. She attended the Old Wire Road Church of Christ while living in Fayetteville, AR, and the Weiner Church of Christ this past year.

Tara lived her life to the fullest by spending time with her friends and family. She was a cherished daughter, granddaughter, sister, auntie, and friend.

Tara is survived by her mother Nikki Bodeker of Bono, AR; brothers Justin (Sydnie) Bodeker of Batesville, AR; children Eden and Troy Bodeker; Adam (Melissa) Bodeker of Bono, AR, children Luke and Ella Bodeker.

Tara was preceded in death by her father, Larry Bodeker of Bono. AR; grandparents Leonard and Katherine Sitzer of Weiner, AR.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on September 2, 2026, at Walker Cemetery in Weiner, AR, with Ray Keller officiating.

Pallbearers include Justin Bodeker, Adam Bodeker, Luke Bodeker, Troy Bodeker, Tim Morgan, and Caleb Sitzer.
