Tammy Renee Robbins, 57, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.
Born in Trumann, Tammy lived all of her life in Jonesboro and was a 1984 graduate of Nettleton High School. Tammy was a homemaker and formerly worked in emergency medicine and the telecommunications profession.
Tammy was a member of First Baptist Church in Bay and was very creative and artistic. She enjoyed painting and reading but her biggest enjoyment came by spending time with her family especially doting over her grandchildren.
Tammy was preceded in death by her grandparents: Junior and Evelyn Markin and Jessie and Geneva Robbins; an aunt, Shelby Lowery; and uncles Stephen Markin and Bobby Markin.
Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law: Blake and Alisha McFarlin and Matthew Brown, all of Jonesboro;
parents, Melvin and Janiece Markin Robbins of Jonesboro;
one brother and sister-in-law, Chad and Nancy Robbins of Lake City;
four grandchildren: Riley McFarlin, Braden McFarlin, Jaxton McFarlin and Whitley Jo McFarlin;
one nephew and his wife, Randy and Ashley Robbins of Gosnell; and
one niece and her husband, Lauren and Logan Thomas of Jonesboro.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Danny Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro.
Active pallbearers include Chad Robbins, Braden McFarlin, Randy Robbins, Logan Thomas, Brent Long and Ken Montgomery.
Visitation will precede the funeral service from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. in the Chapel prior to the service.
