Tammy Jo Grigsby

Tammy Jo Grigsby,63, of Jonesboro departed this life on Monday, January 16, 2023, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born September, 25, 1959 in Baytown, Texas to the late George Coggins Jr. and Peggy Coggins.

Tammy was an occupational therapist in Jonesboro. You could always find her watching and calling the Hogs! She loved spending as much time as she could with her grandbabies.

In addition to her parents Tammy is preceded in death by; one son, Brandon Peaster, one grandchild, Allianna; one brother, Randy Coggins; one sister, Tonya Coggins; grandparents, Ruth and George Coggins Sr.

She is survived by; one son, Michael Peaster (Diane) of Harriet, AR; one daughter-in-law; two brothers, Rodney Coggins of Jonesboro, Robert Coggins; seven grandchildren, Myranda Bowers (Justin); Triston Peastor, Brittni Davis (Anthony), Braden Peaster (Kalya), Rustin Peaster, Cody Peaster, Skylar Kelems (Ryan); 14 great- grandchildren, Braylee, Allianna, Iris, Miya, Ezekiel, Hendleigh, Haynes, Bella, Rileigh, Peyton, Kamrie, Sawyer, Stormie, and Scout; several nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.

Friends may visit at Emerson Memorial Chapel, Saturday, January, 21, 2023 beginning at 1:00 p.m. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked to please consider donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
