Tammy Annette Brewer

Tammy Brewer, 63, of Bono, Arkansas, passed away on April 11, 2026, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital.

She was born on February 27, 1963, in Osceola, Arkansas, to the late David Shelton and Christine Walker.

Tammy was a woman who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved cooking for her family, tending to her garden, and spending time antique shopping. One of her favorite pastimes was driving around in her beloved little black convertible, affectionately known as “Blacky.” She was of the Baptist faith and attended Gethsemane Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Shelton, and her mother, Christine Walker.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Jackie Brewer of the home; her son, James (Courtney) Brewer of Lake City; her daughter, Brandy (Tony) Gray of Walcott; and her sister, Anita Parker of Jonesboro. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Dee (James) Simmons of Osceola, Magen (Danny) Adams of Brookland, and Hannah (Landon) Norman of Paragould. Tammy was blessed with several great-grandchildren: Weston Simmons, Grayson Adams, Nova Simmons, Harleigh Adams, “Toot” Adams, and Gage Norman.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home, with Sister Linda Brewer officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society in Tammy’s honor.
