Tami Lee Jones

Tami Jones, 47, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday evening at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was a graduate of Paragould High School and was a member of the Liberty Full Gospel Church. She also visited Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Clay, Arkansas.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Guss Thomas Jones; her father, Rolland Lee Spear; her brother, Timmy Spear; and by her grandmother who raised her, Violet Anna Ure.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter, Holly Lee Jones, Jonesboro; step-daughter, Amy Capers, Newport News, VA; her mother, Barbara Kolb, Leesburg, FL; 3 sisters, Jamie Spear, Key West, FL, Janet Bialowas, Grand Haven, MI, Alexis Spear, Paragould; 2 step-grandchildren, Talia Capers and Alex Turner; uncle & aunt, Donald & Laverne Spear, Judsonia; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Tami also leaves her best friends, Janice Price, Lola Taylor, Chrystal Nelson, and her many Internet Friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 6:00 p.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel.

Visitation will be held Friday from 4:30 until service time.
